Baja Dream, one of Baja's finer sportfishing charter operations, specializes in multi-day adventures, departing from either San Diego or Cabo San Lucas, depending on the season.
Individual berthing accommodations are provided in three seperate staterooms, over/under berthing, ample locker storage and carpeting throughout. Two bathrooms and hot showers are also provided.
The modern galley provides full-sized oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, wet bar, ice maker and spacious salon, inclusive of color TV/VCR and stereo entertainment center.
She's powered by brand new, twin Caterpillar 3116's & cruises at 15+ knots. Twin generators provide 110-220VAC household type electricity.
Large fishng cockpit, with centered live bait well holding approximately 40 scoops, padded rails, outriggers, tackle locker and twin fish-hold freezers to care for the catch.
Fishing tackle consists of 20+ sets of matched tackle, including 2-speed 30 & 50 Penn Internationals. An enormous array of terminal tackle is at your disposal, including more than 100 various lures.
The bridge boasts an array of state of the art electronics, including side-scanning sonar, VHF & SSB ship to shore & boat to boat radios, GPS navigation system, weather fax, cellular phone/fax, etc.
Baja Dream is a professionally maintained charter yacht by a U.S. Coast Guard licensed skipper, experienced in San Diego & Baja waters. She is provided with a minimum crew compliment of three, for all charters.
The yacht was completely retrofitted during 1995 & early 1996, having recieved expenditures in excess of $150,000.00
